Dr Hugh Jones has always met my requirements, however it is increasingly frustrating, when in times of immediate need, to get in contact with his office in order to make an urgent appointment. The general appointments office at Kingston hospital are also very hard to get hold of, and the waiting time to see Dr Jones is ridiculous. He has given me his direct line (to his PA office) but there is no answer machine and the line is either busy or no-one answers. This system has to be improved.

Dr Jones has looked after me ever since being diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis. He has always listened attentively to any issue I may have had regarding my condition and done his upmost to resolve the problem in the best way. He has always taken into consideration my sporting commitments and training requirements and included me in the formulation of management plans making me feel as though we were working as a team throughout my tie being treated by him. His bright and happy manner makes our appointments as pleasant as can be. He is a delight to have as my treating physician!

Dr Jones welcomes patients in to the consultation personally and smiles warmly. He doesn't make you feel rushed, explains things clearly and listens. I only need to see him annually while my disease remains stable and it is always a pleasure.

I have been seeing Dr. Jones for the last 10 years and have always found him very charming and helpful. He always puts me at ease, has a great sense of humour, and explains everything in detail. I would recommend him to any patient.
