My partner was referred to Mrs Debbie Lawrence by an MS Specialist Nurse due to ongoing and debilitating issues relating to continence. Mrs Lawrence visited our home and assessed my partner for a 'commode irrigation' treatment which she both demonstrated and then observed in use. After using this type of treatment and appliance, it was arranged (through Mrs Lawrence and the District Nurses) that a bed irrigation system would be easier and more efficient. Mrs Lawrence again visited our home in conjunction with the DN's who would then be administering the irrigation treatment. Throughout, Mrs Lawrence's expertise in specialist nursing and sensitivity in engaging with the patient has been invaluable and has been instrumental in achieving a successful treatment which has significantly improved the patients quality of life. I feel as though Mrs Lawrence's input has been exemplary and I could not make any suggestions for improvement on what has been a most positively beneficial experience.

Debbie visited me at home initially to explain and demonstrate how to use the irrigation system recommended by my hospital consultant. Since that visit she has regularly contacted me to give ongoing support which has been such a value to me. And Debbie has been contactable when I needed her. I cannot thank her enough for her ongoing support.

Debbie went above & beyond to help me even taking time out for me when she was on holidays to reassure me when I was panicking about the way I was self catheterising. She has now helped me with changing my catheters to a much more suitable one, explained thoroughly how to use & also what to do if anything should go wrong. I am definitely much more comfortable & confident with my situation than I thought possible.
