I count myself as extremely fortunate to have been in the expert hands of Mr Ziad Harb. From the first consultation to the last I was treated with respect, he listened with care and sympathy. I have Scleroderma and have been suffering excruciating pain in my right ankle as my cartilage had worn away and walking bone on bone. Mr Harb agreed to an ankle fusion after discussing clearly my options and solution to my problem under a local anaesthetic. Mr Harb talked me through the stages of my operation and rehabilitation. He and his team were first class. The operation went without any complications and I am now eternally grateful to Mr Harb for making me pain free

Mr Harb has been very understanding about my problems, and listened to what I was hoping to achieve, i.e. As my level of fitness was pretty good before my ankle problems and I'd only just retired, I wanted to get back to that level as soon as possible, especially for walking and playing golf. The only problem that I came up against was congestion, with way too long between appointments (which is out of his hands). However I always thought that he and his secretary were always on my side and did the very best they could to move things on. The most important thing regarding timescale, was that someone was fighting your corner, it helps to get you through the pain you're suffering. He always kept me in touch with what his ideas were, to get me onto the next stage of my procedures, and my options.

When I first came to see Mr Harb I was at a low point with an injury of a broken calcaneus bone that was not healing after many months, concerned how it would affect my life, along with the thought I would never be able to get back to doing the things I enjoy , such as hiking, cycling and exercise classes etc. At my first consultation with Mr Harb I found him to be very warm , knowledgeable , and instilling in me a great confidence in him being able to help me . Mr Harb set about a treatment plan for me which required on my part dedication to using a ultrasound bone stimulator daily for many months, under his care and direction we began to see a glimmer of hope that this treatment was working . Returning some 6 months later x ray results confirmed that my bone had healed , I was absolutely over joyed on hearing this amazing news as was Mr Harb. Mr Harb is a dedicated professional with a strong work ethic , who is passionate about the well being of his patients and I would recommend him to any one with a foot and ankle concern.
