I had a cosmic procedure on the 5th of January by Mr Smith. I had problem with my breasts which I was born with. I had two procedures done in my early twenties but unfortunately did not give me the results in wanted. I saw Mr Smith before Christmas and arranged the procedure for January. I would like to say that he listened to me and was honest. He said this may not work again for me and if I wanted to go ahead he would try his best. I found him to be kind and approachable with a lovely manor and felt I has a trust in him. To say the procedure has been successful so far has great. I was so happy with the result when I went back to see him and he was so pleased that was happy. I am very grateful to Mr Smith, he has given me back my confidence.

Originally I was referred to a NHS breast clinic by my GP after discovering a lump. I was able to get to see Simon via my medical insurance within 3 days of seeing the GP where as the NHS referral was 9 weeks. From the moment I walked in I was made to feel at ease, listened to and confident Simon would be able to look after me. I was diagnosed 7 days later with bilateral breast cancer which had spread to my lymph nodes. I was given a plan that day of treatment along with dates, what surgery options depending on the cancer treatment outcome and reassurance that I would be looked after. I have now completed the majority of my treatment and had my operation. I am so happy with my outcome and the treatment I received not just from Simon but the whole team that supports his great work

Simon has taken care of me for the last three years since my initial cancer diagnosis in 2020. Despite the obvious initial shock I was soon put at my ease when Simon advised that he would look after me and we would get through this. Three operations in and I am completely grateful to Simon’s approach, professionalism and all round honesty and kindness demonstrated to all his patients. Everyone I speak to seems to know him and tell me how wonderful he is, even those who haven’t had cancer directly themselves!

Simon Smith is not only a brilliant surgeon but also an amazing person, let me explain. He carried out my bilateral breast reduction mammoplasty in September, with amazing results. As my reduction was a big one, an H to a C cup, I had a bit of a long wound healing process, but was very well cared for by Simon and the Plastics nurses, Teresa and Yvonne at Springfield hospital, who all worked really hard with me to get my wounds healed. It was during an appointment with Simon to check how I’m healing that he gave me the news that an abnormality had been found in the tissue that was removed from the left side, and I was shocked and devastated to hear I had Ductal Carcinoma in situ (DCIS), and would need to have a mastectomy and reconstruction surgery. Simon was compassionate and empathetic, giving and allowing me time to absorb the information he had just given me. Since my diagnosis, Simon has continued to see me regularly and keep check on my wound healing as we were all waiting for my reduction wounds to heal prior to further necessary tests, a Sentinel node biopsy, plus mammogram and MRI. The tests and biopsy have now been carried out and my mastectomy and DIEP flap reconstruction is booked to be done real soon. So whilst it has been a devastating and shocking time, I feel so well cared for and am so grateful for the compassion he has shown me, I am very confident I am in very good and extremely kind and skilled hands indeed. So in conclusion you will do yourself a big favour if you chose Simon Smith to do your surgery, you will not be disappointed, and you know you will be in good hands.

From the moment I met Simon at my initial consultation I knew he was the surgeon I wanted to perform my breast augmentation. He was so friendly, knowledgeable, approachable and he just made me feel so at ease and I instantly felt confident in him. He understood exactly what I wanted and advised me of products and sizes etc. I booked my surgery quickly after my consultation and am blown away by the results. I have very little, barely visible scaring. I healed very quickly, with absolutely no problems or issues at all. The whole process was very professional from start to finish. I could would highly recommend Simon to anyone wanting breast surgery, you will not be disappointed. Thankyou very much for giving me my confidence back.
