Originally I was referred to a NHS breast clinic by my GP after discovering a lump. I was able to get to see Simon via my medical insurance within 3 days of seeing the GP where as the NHS referral was 9 weeks.
From the moment I walked in I was made to feel at ease, listened to and confident Simon would be able to look after me.
I was diagnosed 7 days later with bilateral breast cancer which had spread to my lymph nodes. I was given a plan that day of treatment along with dates, what surgery options depending on the cancer treatment outcome and reassurance that I would be looked after.
I have now completed the majority of my treatment and had my operation.
I am so happy with my outcome and the treatment I received not just from Simon but the whole team that supports his great work
