Hip replacement surgery - made to feel confident and well looked after throughout. Follow up physio and consultant appointments all followed a similar pattern.

The environment and staff of the hospital took away the natural trepidation of surgery and a strange environment. If it had been a hotel and not a hospital I would have been happy to have stayed longer

Administration at the hospital was not as I expected. The paperwork was not sent out on time so I could not pay when expected, the threat of the operation being cancelled was not welcomed as it was the administration that went wrong.
My urine sample was lost and my wife had to get another one to the Rivers the day before my operation not an ideal situation for both of us.
Fortunately the operation went ahead and everything turned out ok in the end.

Outstanding hospital that is clean and friendly - gives out an air of professionalism and efficiency as soon as you enter. Whilst it is difficult to single anyone out - the nurses on Orchard Ward were outstanding. Brilliant staff.

Great experience. Polite and friendly staff who all introduced themselves when they visited my room.
Lovely food.
I was made to feel very comfortable and welcome. I am so pleased I chose the Rivers Hospital for my surgery.

Had a hip replacement 11/12/21 performed by Mr Kutty which has been a success and enhanced my quality of life.
