I wouldn't hesitation on recommending Mr Laing if you had any sort of lumbar disc problem. I had been suffering with a large herniated disc in my l5/S1 for 6 months. My first consultation with him was via Zoom and he quickly established my need for surgery. My date for surgery was within 7 weeks (impressive as we were still in the middle of covid19). I was very nervous on the day of surgery, but Mr Laing and his team were very reassuring and I felt in safe hands. The operation was uneventful and Mr Laing is fully confident I will make an excellent recovery. My follow up 10 days later was via Zoom also. Mr Laing has a calm reassuring manor and obviously at the top of his specialism, I wouldn't hesitate to see him again if I needed to.

I had a video consultation with Mr Laing. I found him to be excellent - clearly at the very top of his game. He analysed my MRI and Myelogram thoroughly and explained his interpretation clearly. He gave me a positive surgical suggestion. I feel reassured by his professionalism. I hope I can have him as my surgeon yo do.the procedure.

I would certainly recommend Mr Laing who has been very professional, caring and supportive at a difficult time with the Covid crisis. I am very pleased with my treatment and impressed with how Mr Laing answered my questions before and after my operation. He was very careful to help me understand my condition.
