Mr Westerman is friendly and very helpful, taking time to explain diagnosis and procedures and to answer any questions. I now have two new knees which are settling in nicely: I won't pretend it's a pleasant operation, but I am making a very good recovery with an excellent range of movement, bending and flexing. Although post operative swelling restricts my mobility ( six weeks post op) I can now walk without pain which is wonderful. I was also delighted to discover that Mr W does not use clips/staples to close wounds and my knees have healed perfectly well without them. I highly recommend Richard Westerman.

On the 29th November 2018 I had a full hip replacement by Mr Westerman and his team. The whole team even the lovely anethnatist were so nice and reassuring of every step of my operation especially as I was terrified to remain awake for the whole procedure. I really needn’t of worried. I can honestly say I would recommend Mr Westman and his team 100% to anyone considering having this operation as the whole procedure and aftercare from start to finish has been fantastic. Thank you so much to all the team Amanda x

I was very impressed with the treatment and level of care I received. Having looked at my x-rays and examined me, he told me the extent of my problem and what he proposed to do to remedy the situation. He spoke in a caring and down to earth manner and explained everything in easy to understand terms, both the pros and cons of having the operation. Although I was terrified of having surgery he reassured me in a calm and professional manner. The surgery itself went well and I am making excellent progress towards a full recovery. I am pleased to be able to recommend Mr. Westerman and the BMI Hospital (Meriden) to anyone contemplating hip replacement treatment.

I have had both hips replaced within a couple of months by Mr Westerman and his Team and I cannot believe the change it has made to my life; to be pain free after putting the operation off for 10 years is life changing. The right leg was operated on first and five weeks later and after doing my physio my hip was ready to support my left leg . After six weeks of more physio i was back at work . I would like to mention the way I was put at ease by Mr Westerman and his team making major surgery not the daunting experience I was dreading . All the staff made my stay a comfortable and friendly experience . I highly recommend Mr Westerman and all the Team at the BMI Meridan.
