I was referred to Mr Bowes as a NHS patient. He confirmed that I did have left posterior capsular pacification and recommended a YAG laser capsulotomy. This he explained thoroughly pointing out any possible drawbacks. He performed this treatment and I was thoroughly happy with the result. He was so pleasant and informative that I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone.

Mr Bowes, spends the time to explain the procedure in layman’s terms, he professional, knowledgable and very personable. I am 100% happy with my cataract operation, I was taken good care of from the beginning to the end. It’s important to have total confidence in your surgeon, It’s great to see clearly again!

Excellent Consultant, fully explained the procedures, and referred me to another Consultant for an eyelid procedure prior to cataract surgery. I am very grateful to have had such a caring and professional Doctor carrying out an operation which has saved the sight in my left eye. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anybody Julia Mackay

I was fortunate to be referred to Mr Bowes for a NHS funded Cateract procedure which has been successfully completed. As part of the preliminary investigation he discovered I was suffering from Age Related Macular Degeneration and referred me to Queens Hospital Romford for treatment. As it was in its early stages the treatment is working well. In short Mr Bowes has saved my sight and I no longer require spectacles apart from reading small print in poor light. I highly recommend him to you.

Mr Bowes was so kind to me when I had my cataract surgery - he explained everything so clearly and was knowledgeable, patient and I felt confident with his care. I am waiting to have my second eye done but I am reassured by my previous experience with him and have already seen a significant improvement in my treated eye. I would not hesitate to recommend him to any patient or even my own friends and family. Many thanks!
