mr jakub is the best at what he does. he is very attentive. he is a great surgeon. my recovery has been exceptional and my swelling post opp was minimal. even my physio said it was one of the cleanest surgeries they have ever seen. I could not thank mr jakub enough for all he has done

I had been putting off having a knee replacement for five years because I was so frightened. I should not have worried. The whole proceedure was so much better than I feared. Mr Jacob put my mind at rest and made me feel safe. I had a spinal anaesthetic plus sedation so was unaware of anything but back on the ward about one and a half hours later with no side affects. I came home the next day. That was now seven weeks ago. I wont say I have had no aches and pains as my body adjusts, but they are slowly going, and I was in a lot of pain before. I am now out walking everyday further and further each time. A bonus for me was that I had been very stooped, something I hated. After my knee replacement I am upright,and the first thing people say is I look taller and Slimmer. With more mobility, less pain and the improved posture I feel like a new person. To anybody, who like I was, is afaid. I can only say that for me I am so pleased I had the operation. Pamela.

Mr Jacob has changed my life! I was in so much pain with osteoarthritis in my knee and both my hips….. I was unable to move without horrible pain! Had my left knee replaced in Sept 2020, Mr Jacob did the operation, he made me feel confident everything would be alright, and it was. I listened to all the advice about aftercare and exercise that need to be followed. The relief and no more pain in my knee is amazing!! Both my hips needed replacing…. and was in agony once again with the hips… Mr Jacob reassured me that all would be well with the replacements, he replaced my left hip in June 2022 and then my right hip in October 2022 so very quickly after each other, which is fantastic! I have my life back and I’m free of pain… I am working hard to build my strength up, now after listening and following after care advice and exercise. I would recommend wholeheartedly to have your hips or knees replaced if you’re suffering in so pain, as I was….. Mr Jacob is a brilliant surgeon and puts you at your ease about having hip or knee replacements. Don’t leave it and suffer, Mr Jacob can change your life too! A life without horrendous pain!
