He has an pleasant manner with patients and their partners/carers which puts one at ease. He did, however, fail to pay full attention on one or two matters and had to be corrected. He was not fully conversant with the case history and was concentrating on the computer screen rather than paying full attention to the conversation.

I attended a consultation with Mr Jitendra Parmar on Wed 23 August 2017. My experience of Mr Parmar, which included an examination, a short chat and then a follow up chat after he had reviewed scans taken on the day, was all very good. I found him to be polite, attentive and thorough. He especially made sure that I understood what he was saying during our final conversation and he also made it clear that I was to contact my doctor/him again if I was at all worried in the future.

Mr Jitendra Parmar was a nice doctor and put me at my ease. I have had breast surgery for DCIS. He told me that DCIS can only be seen on mammogram because of the calcification, When I asked that perhaps I should have another mammogram instead of a clinical examination, he pointed out that too many mammograms carry their own risk, and that yearly will suffice. I was happy with this advice.
