6 months on - wow - Mr Lam has not only given me great boobs :-) but a new life. I had my reduction in March 2013 and from my first consultation to the discharge the care and commitment from the staff has been incredible. My op wasn't for cosmetic reasons as I am almost 60 but 2 years ago I was diagnosed with M.S. so none of us knew how I would react to such radical surgery. FANTASTIC is how I have felt from waking up after the surgery to now...I had 2 kilo removed so the benefit on my back is immense and the effect was immediate. I have not had to take any painkillers from waking to now and apart from a small infection and 5 days antibiotics no problems at all. Hardly any scarring and feeling is returning each day but none of it has been unpleasant. And the best bit is ....getting a bra off the shelf :-) especially at bargain prices. Thank you Mr Lam - you do transform lives......

I should have wrote this review sooner,not sure how to write it so here goes from my first appointment with Mr Lam he made me think what I wanted to look like was very achievable . I had breast and body contouring done after I lost a great deal of weight , in total I lost 154 lbs .This consultant has made me look great ,his ability to look at you and talk to you ,in a manner that makes you become more positive about yourself is a rare talent . His treatment of me was first class . Go see this man .

I have only very high praise for the whole of the team in the reconstructive plastic surgery department. The treatment I received while under the care of this department was second to none. Dr Lam and the team as a whole are friendly, supportive and encouraging, which cannot be underestimated at what has been a difficult time for me! I felt that I was given the time that I needed, was truly listened to and was never patronised (unlike previous experiences at other hospitals). In short not only have I been pleased with the overall physical outcome of my treatment but the friendly, empathetic staff have lifted me up. I think that this supportive atmosphere has had a psychological benefit and helped to aid my recovery. I have had a very good experience and I would like to thank each and every person involved in my care.

I Had an abdominoplasty in October 2012 performed by David Lam at the Thornbury hospital in Sheffield. This surgeon is exceptional, he is very thorough in explaining the procedure and makes you feel you are in safe hands (and you absolutely are with him). The results of my surgery are truly amazing and I couldn't be happier. I found David to be very approachable and understanding. I was even able to email him about a concern I had prior to the surgery, which he responded to the same day. I cannot recommend David Lam enough his work as a cosmetic surgeon is second to none. It's been 2 months post op that mr David Lam carried out a breast enlargement for me and I can say I am very happy with what he has done, he was brilliant from start to finish, explained everything in detail,made me feel very at ease. I would defiantly recommend to anyone. He is a kind friendly and VERY good at his job. I Just want to say a very big thank you to Mr Lam and all the staff at Claremont. I am a very happy lady with the end result.
