Assist. Prof. Sirwan Hadad is an truly outstanding breast surgeon. It was an honour to be treated by him and I felt and I knew I was in the best hands possible. Assist. Prof. Sirwan Hadad cares deeply for his patients and it builds trust which is crucial when going through a surgery. I cannot thank him enough for his incredible and exceptional work. I have the privilege of being in the exceptional care of breast surgeon Mr Sirwan Hadad. Mr. Hadad has an innate ability to build trust through his own calm, quiet, confident presence. He combines the highest levels of professionalism with cheerfulness and a lightness of touch. Those qualities help to dispel your own tensions. He listens, and is always clear in his explanations, which are painstakingly made. He gently guides in a way that restores your own confidence. Through trust, I felt able to become more engaged in decision making, recovering more of - who I was before cancer. He is not only a remarkable surgeon, his humility and humanity are the features that so clearly define his work. A diagnosis of cancer is life changing, it unravels the certainties that we came to depend on while we were the decision makers. Finding kindness and understanding from the very beginning, instils complete faith and trust. I am indebted to Mr Hadad for his attention, not just to the physical, but also the psychological stresses that come with cancer, through his natural understanding of, and consideration for his patients’ singular circumstances. Mr Hadad is the best, kindest surgeon whom I was blessed to be referred to in February 2020 because I have the Brca1 gene mutation. He is amazing, wonderful, kind and understanding. He listened to my wishes and explained the Mastectomy proceedure clearly, as well as my options for reconstruction. I would definitely reccommend Mr Hadad to anyone who requires an Onco-plastic breast surgeon. Sadly he has now left the Royal Hallamshire Hospital. Please come back, The RHH and your patients NEEDS YOU.

Very caring surgeon, he cared and treated me with my breast cancer, he's now leaving the hallamshire, but explains everything, yes very good surgeon and my scar looks amazing, treat with lots of moisturiser which helps
