I first met Mr Pittathankel in November 2020 when i was diagnosed with Breast cancer. He was so kind, reassuring and professional. I found him from the outset to have a very calming way about him and very approachable. He explained everything clearly and gave me plenty of time to ask questions, gather my thoughts etc . On the day of the surgery , again he was brilliant. Made me feel more at ease as i was a bundle of nerves. He did an excellent job of removing my breast tumour and my lymph nodes. He is extremely thorough with many many years of experience and treats you as an individual with care and respect. I without a doubt would recommend Mr Pittathankal.

I had an initial assessment with the Dr for a lump on my head. He listened to my concerns and took time to understand my anxiety. I had a call few days before my op and Dr Pittathankal told me what yo expect and I was amazed he remembered my anxieties and gave me plenty of reassurance. He phoned me again that morning to remind me not to eat. The whole team at Spires were fantastic and I couldn’t fault them at all. Dr Pittathankal and his team kept my mind busy during the procedure. He assigned someone to hold my hand and Keep me calm. Follow up was about a month later. His care and calmness was fantastic and I’d have no hesitation in recommending him

Dr Pittathankal saved my fathers life. He worked a miracle on a frail elderly man, when we were told by other medics 11 years ago that he would never be able to be operated on due to poor health and heart conditions. But Dr Pittathankal and his team thought of a way to operate and they saved his life. He is dedicated, caring and truely amazing. i have full confidence in him and would recommand anyone needing an operation to go to him if his field would meet your needs. i cannot thank him enough for all that he did. i am the daughter, but the next part of the form i am filling out on behalf of my father.

After being under Mr Pittathankal's care for over 2+ years now I cannot speak highly enough of him. I first met Mr P, after learning I had the BRCA2 gene, and I made the decision to have a preventative bilateral double mastectomy. Him and his team went through great lengths to help me understand, not only my first procedure, but all procedures from that point onwards. I hold Mr P in the highest regard. He is professional, compassionate and has the ability to put your worries to rest, you simply could not ask for a better consultant.
