I was treated with care & kindness each time I have seen Miss Abeysiri - pre & post appointments and for the cataract surgery itself. I was very pleased with the surgery.Thank you.

It is three weeks from my cataract procedure and all is progressing well. I was amazed at the difference in my sight even just the morning after. I had none of the possible blurred vision that one is warned might happen immediately after the operation. The procedure itself only took a short time with local anaesthetic and, although a somewhat strange feeling, it was completely painless and I felt very confident that I was in safe hands. My right eye has had very bad vision from birth so at our first consultation Miss Abeysiri explained that there was an opportunity to improve the sight in that eye at this time. However at 68 I am happy with glasses and asked to be made the same or just slightly better. So Miss Abeysiri agreed to give me an implant to do exactly as I wished. And I am very happy with the outcome. I had a follow up a week later and have a final check in early January. Miss Abeysiri has written to my GP for my records and put a repeat prescription in place at the Surgery for drops for my left eye going forward. I have had the most satisfying experience and will definitely be back if my left eye ever needs the same attention.

This Doctor is caring, humble, cheerful and accomodating. She made me to feel free to ask whatever question I have concerning my eyes. I feel highly favoured by God that He gave me the grace to be attended to by this Doctor. I will recommend her to anyone in need of her service.

I could not ask for a better Dr 5* I was fortunate enough to have Ms Poona Abeysiri perform both of my eye surgery’s one being a Trabelectomy which I am very pleased with the results, the second being cataract surgery which I had under local anaesthetic & was very nervous about I need not have worried as Ms Abeysiri & here wonder team made me feel so confident & relaxed even playing songs of my choice which helped me so much. My pre care & post care have been amazing I am so grateful for the amazing care that Ms Abeysiri has given me time & time again always so concerned about her patience & making sure I understood everything I needed to know & listened to my concerns. On my last visit 30/11/2022 I was going through some discomfort with dry eyes which Ms Abeysiri put plugs into my tear ducts & the relief I have now is amazing, I also had a stitch in in my right eye that hadn’t dissolved, I had an injection in my eye & numbing drops & the stitch was removed, one day later & I have no discomfort in either eye & I don’t know if it is a coincidence but my vision is much brighter, colours are more vivid & I feel like my life is back on track thanks to this wonder lady. Thank you so much Ms Abeysiri
