Dr Abeysiri has been wonderful to my father, providing him with amazing care. Being supportive, thoughtful and listening to him. My dad has severe sight loss and often the doctors end up asking us, his family questions, but Dr Abeysiri made sure that he knew when she was talking to him, and took enough time to listen to what he needed to tell her. She is a lovely doctor

I referred myself to Miss Abeysiri having failed, over a long period, to get an appointment at an NHS Ophthalmology Clinic following my opticians noting possible glaucoma. I have seen her three times (July and September 2022 and March 2023). On each occasion she has been clear, courteous and reassuring, always explaining what she was doing and what results her examinations had revealed. I immediately had the utmost faith in what she was doing and telling me, and trusted her implicitly. After the three appointments, I am both satisfied - and relieved - that I do not have glaucoma, although I am gradually developing cataracts, by no means unusual in someone of my age. As a side issue, I get the distinct feeling that my opticians are now treating my routine examinations with greater care and attention than perhaps they were doing before Miss Abeysiri's involvement!

Thank you Dr. Abeysiri for going the extra mile to help my grandmother who was identified to have macular degeneration. On the day her eyesight was very blurry and due to her caring needs for my grandfather who has dementia this became a potential emergency, as this restricted her mobility due to her very poor sight and I was worried her macular degeneration had worsened. As my grandfathers dementia is severe and he does not accept outside help due to his anxiety. We went to the emergency eye clinic in Queen's Hospital, Romford and my grandmother was seen promptly and Dr. Abeysiri polished her lens after the end of clinic to avoid any further problems. Her sight has now become exceptionally clear and now she feels a lot securer and safer caring for my grandfather and moving around the house.
