I had the great opportunity to be seen by Dr. Ikin. He is a good example of what a 'real doctor' should look like. I was really pleased to find out that apart from the mandatory qualification he is equipped with value-based skills which are of greater importance for fulfilling the term- real doctor. Dr.Ikin does put the patient in the center of his work, he delivers patient-orientated dedicated care. He is honest, understanding, compassionate about his patients' health and wellbeing. He does not save time and effort when assessing patients and does his best in order to achieve our recovery. I really wish and dream that all doctors adopt his way of work and looking after patients. I think that he is a good candidate for Care Excellence Award.

I totally agree with the comments made by other patients. Dr. Ikin is the most lovely Consultant I have ever visited. He is very thorough and has time to listen to you and explain The tests which need to be carried out in order to sort out my health issues. Really a great human being.

The best doctor St Peters has got for having a great bedside manner. Any patient would be lucky to have him as their consultant. He listens to you, makes sure things get done. A wonderful man

Any patient would be lucky to be under Ikin’s care. His clinics always run late but that is because we all get the time we need with him - he is so worth waiting for! I always feel heard, supported and that I am not only a hospital number to him. My health recently took a nose dive and Ikin couldn’t have been more helpful and supportive. He is a wonderful human being and a fantastic doctor. Also a big thank you to Amy and the rest of the Gastro admin team.

Was in a consultation with another doctor but spoke to Dr Ikin for a while and he was the loveliest person ever. Really kind, great people skills and clearly loves his work. I feel so much more confident knowing I am in his care. A truly lovely guy who totally deserves the many positive comments I regularly hear about him.
