What an incredible Doctor, please clone him and flood the NHS with him, my first meeting with him yesterday after years of problems and within minutes of meeting him I trusted him, he picked up straight away omissions from my notes and noticed things on images that others had missed, I was told by a Nurse before my appointment that he was running half an hour late and that he generally runs late, there is a simple reason for this , he cares and wants to do his job properly, no health care professional should be pressurised so much that they don't have enough time to do what's necessary, it's not just about the numbers

Dr Ikin is the nicest doctor I have ever met and goes above and beyond to help his patients. He never rushes you. He has the perfect bedside manner and does all he can to explain and make you feel at ease. More doctors should take his approach. Unfortunately the nhs is broken and doctors like this get no recognition for their hard work and dedication to their patients. If you ever need to see a gastroenterologist, I highly reccomend Dr Ikin

I was quite nervous before going for my appointment with Dr Ikin today. Dr Ikin was extremely kind and caring and put me at ease straight away. He listened to me didn't rush the appointment and explained what the next steps will be and reason why. I fell I am in the best possible hands. A big thank you.

Dr Ikin went above and beyond my expectations. He took my families medical history into account, along with my symptoms. He ordered numerous tests. He kept me updated via email along the way. The follow up consultation , was very informative and allowed me time for numerous questions. He simplified his answers with the addition diagrams. I truly believe, due to his over cautious approach, revealed things that wouldn’t have been identified otherwise. He has also followed up with an in depth letter of his findings, which has been forwarded to my GP I am very grateful to Dr Ikin. Also, he is very down to earth and has a humane approach.
