I recently had a very thorough consultation with Dr Al- Shakarchi and really appreciated her patience and motivation to address the symptoms i have been experiencing. She also communicated all aspects of the examination and test results clearly with me.

I had my first appointment with Dr Al-Shakarchi recently, and I think she's excellent. I like the 'no nonsense', dispel all myths, approach, and she's very friendly as well. I trust her, so for me that's the important thing.

I have been seeing this Doctor for a Couple of Years Over My Osteo & Rheumatoid Arthritic Condition. She is Very Friendly & Pleasant & Make You feel Comfortable to Discuss My Progressive Arthritic Health Complaints. With Her Specialist knowledge She is able to Give Me the Great Care & Management of My Symptoms by also Mutually Agreeing to my Requests, as I am not very keen on too many Medications & Prefer Alternate Ways ( Trialling Exercise & Diet ) on Managing My Condition.

Dr Al-Shakarchi has been looking after my 86 year old Mother and her rheumatoid athritis for almost 3 years now (with a maternity break). Mother also has alzheimers which means she is not the easiest person to deal with ! I could not recommend Israa highly enough. Her care, compassion and consideration are exemplary. Although she is obviously busy, we never feel rushed, her explanations are clear and thorough. She clearly has a very wide and in depth knowledge of her speciality. She has made a number of referrals to other Departments to deal with specific problems Mother has and she always asks after the outcomes. Her attitude and sense of humour with us is pitched perfectly, I cant help wondering if she has several hats in this respect, more serious with some, more levity with others ? You ask for 'constructive suggestions on how they could improve to give even greater care'. I have thought long and hard about this one, but, I cant think of anything, sorry.
