Having had both legs treated for varicose veins in May 2011 to-day was my last check-up appointment. Extremely pleased with the results. Mr Gajraj and his team all very pleasant and professional. After suffering varicose veins in my left leg, I was recommended to Dr Gajraj by my own GP. Initially I went along to a very informative presentation in a local hotel . I was so impressed that I signed up on the day and was soon having my initial consultation. It was decided that I should have Foam Schlerothapy & Phlebectomy which was carried out in December 2011. One year on and I've just had my final check up and I can honestly it was one of the best decisions I have made. I had a particularly nasty vein on the side of my left knee which was the most painful, and the calf & foot were affected as well. I was very impressed by the attention to detail given by Dr Gajraj and all the staff. The procedure itself was painless and I've since had three check ups to make sure all is well. I first went to see Dr Gajraj in October 2011 at the Transform Clinic in Portishead, Bristol. He recommended foam schlerotherapy treatment in both legs to improve the appearance of spider veins. I have now completed my 3 sessions, there is still a small amount of discolouration, but I am very pleased with the results. I now have the confidence to wear dresses without the need to always wear opaque tights!! I have recently undergone the varicose vein removal treatment at the Transform Clinic in Portishead. The treatment was performed by Dr Gajraj and the whole process has been excellent from beginning to end. The initial consultation was very informative and Dr Gajraj really understood my concern about not only the physical affect of the vein but also my lack of confidence in its appearance. The procedure was relatively pain free and he and Julia made me feel very at ease in a situation that could be extrememly nervewracking. The aftercare has been amazing and Dr Gajraj has been happy to answer any questions following the procedure. This was the first experience I had had of any such procedure and I felt everyone was entirely professional, I would certainly recommend to anyone to visit Transform and Dr Gajraj for any such treatment going forward.

I began a short course of foam schlerotherapy treatment in both legs in August 2011. I had previously had my varicose veins "stripped" in an operation performed by Mr Gajraj on the NHS in 1999, so I had no hesitation in approaching Mr Gajraj again to treat them a second time. I have always found him to be extremely courteous, professional and friendly. I believe I had four sessions of injections, all walk-in walk-out treatments and compared to the pain and inconvenience of the experience I had in 1999, this was almost pain-free and apart from the first session, I was able to drive to and from each appt. Just over a year later, I am very pleased with the results. Although I am never now going to be 100% happy with how my legs look (I'm 52 and slightly overweight), I felt confident enough to wear shorts and dresses whilst I was on holiday in Sept this year and am very pleased with the improvements. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Gajraj and his Team to anyone thinking of having their veins treated at The Melbury Clinic. ALV
