Having been given the news that the prostate cancer that I have was not only cancer, but "advanced" cancer, I was more than a little disappointed. Loraine was honest and very helpful with explaining what it was and what the treatment involved and the likelihood of it succeeding in curing or at least controlling the problem. If I had worries before the meeting, they were dispelled and I am confident that if there is something that I am required to do that I do not understand, I am only a phone call from a plain answer. Having someone who is clearly competent, and has the ability to listen and give clear advice/ guidance with A SMILE has made all the difference, and the long road ahead is that much easier to face - Thankyou Loraine

I first met Lorraine when I attended my first meeting with my consultant the day after leaving hospital. Throughout that meeting she made me feel at ease by eye contact and gestures. When my wife & I have questions we contact Lorraine . She explains everything in plain english without baffling us with lots of technical stuff. She has a great personality, listens to your concerns & gives you a feeling of confidence. Over the last 2 years that we have known her we know that if we have any queries or just need someone to talk to she is always available and that she has become a friend rather than just a member of the urology team. Lorraine has given us great support to get through the first 2 years & we know that she will be there for us in the future. The only thing I can add is Thank You.

Lorraine is extremely helpful. She listens to what you say, discusses problems with the consultant, and then rings back to offer advice. She is very friendly, yet totally professional.
