Wow. What a surgeon. He involved my wife as well as me in all consultations. He and his staff deserve all the accolades one can give. I have had many operations over the years in London,Surrey,Wirral and Chester and they do not come up to Professor Malik and his teams standard. Anyone having surgery with this team can rest assured they will be in great hands with nothing to worry about Geoffrey Ward

On the 7 th March 2023 , I had bi-lateral knee replacements performed by Professor Malek. The care I received from Professor Malek and his staff was exceptional, from diagnosis , to the operation being performed , I am now pain free and have today, 18 th May been discharged from his care . I am so grateful for his skill and the care I received post op.

I had a total hip replacement ( right side ) under Professor Ibrahim Malek on 28/2/23 at Wrexham Maelor . From admission to discharge all staff including District nurses from the hospital team were outstanding . I have now had both hips replaced by Prof. Malek at Wrexham Maelor and have been very lucky to have been operated on by a skilled and outstanding surgeon , my only concern was that after surgery my legs would b the same length , Prof. Malek reassured me he was confident he could provide this . I cannot thank Prof. Malek enough for the difference these two procedures have made to my quality of life , i would recommend Prof. I Malek to anyone . Thank you so Much David Glyn Hughes

Professor Malek identified my need for a hip replacement by watching me standup & walk with a great deal of pain. He explained the operation so I fully understood the process & outcome. My procedure was carried out on a Friday afternoon, and by the evening I was out of bed & walking with the aid of a frame. I then had two days of physiotherapy, and was discharged on Sunday PM, being able to walk with the aid of crutches. I saw Professor Malek on two occasions; at two weeks and six weeks after the operation, and I have now been discharged. I am now fully mobile without the need for sticks or crutches. The whole process has turned my life around. I can't thank Professor Malek enough.

A very safe pair of hands. Listened and carefully explained the procedure I needed which was a total hip replacement. Came to see me on the ward before the operation and was very reassuring. Following the op he took the time to ring my husband to tell him that it had gone well and that I was in recovery. A lovely personal touch. He came another three times to see me during the two days I was in the Spire. Each time he was caring and positive. The two follow up appointments were business like but I still felt listened to. He inspired confidence in him and in myself. I felt that I was able to do all he suggested to aid my rehabilitation.
