Professor Malek identified my need for a hip replacement by watching me standup & walk with a great deal of pain.
He explained the operation so I fully understood the process & outcome.
My procedure was carried out on a Friday afternoon, and by the evening I was out of bed & walking with the aid of a frame.
I then had two days of physiotherapy, and was discharged on Sunday PM, being able to walk with the aid of crutches.
I saw Professor Malek on two occasions; at two weeks and six weeks after the operation, and I have now been discharged.
I am now fully mobile without the need for sticks or crutches.
The whole process has turned my life around.
I can't thank Professor Malek enough.
