I was recommended professor Malek for my hip replacement and I am very glad I followed that recommendation. I felt totally at ease from my first consultation and was fully informed and involved throughout the entire process. I particularly like the way I am encouraged to push myself to my limits during my rehabilitation. A most engaging professional whom I would fully recommend.

He clearly demonstrated his skills to me in taking away all pain from my previously botched Hip replacement, (performed by another "surgeon").

I had a full left hip relacement done at spire yale on 22/1/21, under Mr I. Malek and his team. I have been in pain for the last 2 years, and due to the current situation had no chance of a hip replacement on the nhs till 2022!. After much thought i decided to see mr malek at spire. On my initial consultation mr malek came over as proffesional, honest, caring and trustworthy. After my operation i was home after 2 nights, unaded and able to climb the stairs. All this due to mr maleks skill, and indeed the whole team there at spire.A big thank you to all of you. I have just had my 2 week check up and all is fine. Im currently walking 3,000 steps a day. I would recommend mr malek to anyone who needs hip surgery, and the team he has around him are first class. The hospital is clean, and they are constantly making sure the hygiene level is good. Many thanks again to you all. Ron Rowe

I was suffering badly with my hip for a year and despite two other visits and x-rays my requirement for a replacement hip joint was only diagnosed when I saw Mr Malek. Due to the pandemic I had to go private with Mr Malek as my surgeon. His manner and skills have resulted in my hip operation and total relief of the joint pain. He informed me of the operation details and how we would proceed and had a brief chat with me on the operating table pre operation. I was kept informed of how it was proceeding throughout the process, 90 minutes later we were chatting as I was taken to recovery and again in the evening in my room. I can not praise Mr Malek enough for his care and skill and have called him a star to his face, he and his team are exceptional. (Tom Price)

Mr Malek is professional, caring and an excellent surgeon. He and his team were very friendly, put me at complete ease and listened to my concerns. I had a total hip replacement on 27th October 2020, fitted in during this dreadful pandemic, for which I am extremely grateful. My recovery has surpassed my wildest dreams and 12 weeks after surgery I am now walking over 4 miles daily, totally pain free. Mr Malek's skill has transformed my life and enabled me to be fit and active again. Thank you.
