I was suffering badly with my hip for a year and despite two other visits and x-rays my requirement for a replacement hip joint was only diagnosed when I saw Mr Malek. Due to the pandemic I had to go private with Mr Malek as my surgeon. His manner and skills have resulted in my hip operation and total relief of the joint pain. He informed me of the operation details and how we would proceed and had a brief chat with me on the operating table pre operation. I was kept informed of how it was proceeding throughout the process, 90 minutes later we were chatting as I was taken to recovery and again in the evening in my room. I can not praise Mr Malek enough for his care and skill and have called him a star to his face, he and his team are exceptional. (Tom Price)
