I had a consolation with Professor Singh regarding a problem with me left shoulder he examined me and explained what he believed to be the problem was. I was given a steroid injection into my shoulder and within 24 hours the pain I had suffered with for over 2 years and lots of visits to my GP as gone and now I get to sleep at night pain free. I found Professor Singh to be very professional and knowledgeable and would highly recommend him.

I consulted Prof BJ regarding cubital tunnel syndrome. He let me describe the symptoms and made me feel confident that he could carry out a routine procedure. With one look at my hands he instantly diagnosed other problems and suggested an injection to ease arthritic symptoms in my left thumb. He also diagnosed early stage dupuytren's contracture and explained at what stage I should seek treatment. The procedure for cubital tunnel syndrome was carried out by Prof BJ at KIMS under general anaesthetic. I was impressed with every aspect of my treatment and stay at KIMS. All the staff were excellent. If I do need treatment for dupuytren's contracture at some stage in the future, I shall certainly seek out prof BJ.

I saw Professor Bijayendra Singh ("BJ") for the first time earlier today and was immediately put at ease by his relaxed demeanour and "presence"; he came across as being supremely confident in his specialist role without the slightest touch of arrogance and although exceptionally busy, made me feel as though I was the most important person he was seeing that day. He fully engaged with me on a personal level, allowing me to ask any questions as I saw fit, and indeed, when it was justified, for me to take control of the conversation. As for any improvements to give even greater care, all I can say is that BJ should continue to be the person he is; some things in life are just so good, they do not warrant being changed.

Thank you for your comments. I am here to help patients, and if a clinician does not listen to patients they will never have that faith.
