I would without a doubt recommend Mr Shah. I was made to feel very comfortable from the outset and the process was explained in simple English. Mr Shah also took the time to show me on models as to what was going on with my knees as well as going through my scans to ensure that I had no doubts in my mind. Calm, professional and engaging is the easiest way to describe my experience.

I totally recommend Dr shah.he did a total knee replacement.for me ..I was very dubious to have it .due to the fact that I had a knee replacement.before by a different Dr and hospital..I was treated quite badly and the after care was none.it was a very bad experience.but Dr shah assured me that it would be better this time.i had a great experience this time and I can't thank him enough.he is a very nice person and treat's you with respect..

I would not recommend Mr Zameer Shah as a doctor. I came to see him at BMI Blackheath with a damaged knee. I wasn’t able to stand on the damaged leg and was limping. I wasn’t able to flex or straighten the leg fully and was in pain. The GP said that she suspected ligament damage. Mr Shah commissioned an MRI and an x-ray. Following the scans, he saw me again when he said that he wasn’t too sure if the ligament was torn or not and I needed physio therapy. At no time did he offer to examine the knee and establish the limits to movement or pain levels. He simply wrote a letter a week later and sent me away for two months, although I said to him clearly that this is affecting my daily life and I cannot get on with it on one foot for another two months, when allegedly his secretary was going to write to me. Today, he simply discharged me. This is because I questioned why he didn’t bother examining the knee on either appointment not was he able to confirm the diagnosis. I obtained the MRI report which clearly confirmed full rupture of ACL ligament. It is beyond me how an experienced doctor like Mr Shah can fail to tell me on three occasions that there was a full rupture. He was simply not interested in helping me. When I asked him why he didn’t examine me nor advise me of the rupture, he denied this was the case. Now I have had several sessions of physio therapy but the physio therapist doesn’t know who to send her report to as Mr Shah decided to discharge me from his care, or rather his lack of care I should say. Very poor. I would not trust him with my care now and will have to find a doctor who cares.

From my initial consultation with Mr Zameer Shah I had full confidence in his abilities to do my knee replacement. He is a very kind and caring doctor who listens very carefully and is fully engaged. He explained everything very clearly and answered all my questions in a easy to understand way. The operation was a great success and he came to check on my progress every day I was in hospital. Even my physiotherapist has commented on how excellent my surgeon must have been due to the fantastic progress I was making with my new knee. I would highly recommend Mr Shah as an excellent surgeon and would not hesitate to use him again.
