I first went to see Mr Naqui in July 2019 as I was suffering pain from severe osteoarthritis in both wrists and lower thumb joints. I am a musician and play and teach clarinet and saxophone and I was finding it increasingly impossible to practise for any length of time or to perform in concerts without taking a lot of pain killers. Additionally, I was unable to write without extreme pain or to enjoy my hobby of gardening. I was suffering sudden regular sharp pain and would often drop things as I could no longer grip properly. Mr Naqui was very understanding and after assessing the extent of the arthritis and trying guided steroid injections, which no longer worked, he thought it best to perform a trapeziectomy and FCR sling procedure, starting with my right hand. He performed the operation in December 2019. Mr Naqui was reassuring on the day of the operation and I found that the videos that he sent, pre and post op, were very helpful. I was so happy with the result of the first procedure. I suffered no pain at all following the operation and the rehab was much quicker than I feared it would be. The scars are barely noticeable from that operation now and I quickly got back to playing my instruments for long sessions without any pain. In February 2021 I had the second operation and am currently undergoing the physiotherapy for that and building up my playing time again. I’m hopeful - and confident - that the result will be as good this time around. I’m so grateful to have been under Mr Naqui’s care as it truly has transformed my life to have these operations.

I had a trigger thumb treated by Mr Naqui earlier this year. He was very professional but approachable and friendly. The procedure was done under local anaesthetic, it was relatively quick and painless and I was able to relax throughout thanks to Mr Naqui and his calm and efficient demeanour. Following the operation the function in my hand is greatly improved and I have been able to resume cycling, gardening and have no restrictions to movement. I am really pleased with the outcome so far. Thank you to Mr Naqui and all his team. I would highly recommend this service.

I have recently had surgery under Mr Naqui as I was suffering with trigger finger and thumb. The condition became debilitating and it was making my working day unbearable. He was professional, friendly and reassuring. I felt relaxed and confident in his expertise during the procedure. I would highly recommend him and his team.

I recently visited Dr Naqui suffering with uncomfortable ganglion cysts in both of my wrists. After treatment both cysts disappeared and I no long have any pain or discomfort. Dr Naqui has a friendly and professional manor and made me feel relaxed and confident during the procedure. I will definitely go and see Dr Naqui again if I ever need to in the future.

I thought my Dupuytrens condition was inoperable but was reassured by Dr Naqui that it could be rectified. My right little finger was curling inwards and becoming a bit of an impediment to my daily life. From the initial consultation I felt that I was being looked after by confident and capable professionals with expertise in their particular field. The operation was a success and post operatively the care I received couldn’t have been bettered as Lindsey was a brilliant physio. I have a straightened digit and can now reach the brake of my motorcycle without a struggle amongst other things. I have been thoroughly satisfied with my treatment from beginning to end.
