I went to Mr Naqui at the Alex at Cheadle, from start to finish the experience was excellent and the attention to detail superb my finger is now mending nicely thanks to his great service and also the way he engages patients to help them understand how things are progressing. His PA Donna was also superb would highly recommend him at a time of stress and worry as he builds confidence and is very supportive

I found a large lump that appeared on my wrist overnight. I couldn’t get my watch on at all. As I had been diagnosed with breast cancer less than a year before, it was quite worrying. My GP referred me to Mr Naqui at the Alexandra Hospital under the NHS. I can’t tell you how reassuring he was. He carried out all the relevant tests and told me that it was an exceptionally large ganglion. I was booked into the Alexandra hospital for the removal of the ganglion, again as an NHS patient and the the whole experience was first class. It felt like going into a top class hotel with the friendliest and most helpful people imaginable. Mr Naqui came to see me before the operation and couldn’t have been more kind and helpful. He explained that my scar would be longer than usual because the ganglion was so large. I was referred to a hand physiotherapist after the operation who gave me exercises to do and guided me to a really good product to help with the scarring. It’s only been a couple of months but I can already wear my watch again and there is no pain whatsoever. The scar is slightly red at the moment but I know that will improve in time

I went to see Mr Naqui with carpel tunnel, he explained everything that could be done and gave me a full explanation in simple terms what the procedure would entail. The operation was quick and more important pain free. Mr Naqui's team were both efficient and kind. Thank you to all the team and a special thank you to Donna who was both friendly and efficient.

After suffering pain in my right thumb joint for the last few years and having had 2 steroid injections in the CMC joint which only gave short term relief I went to see Zaf Naqui who discussed the options with me . I am a Dentist and work was becoming extremely difficult and very painful and all household chores and some sports near impossible. It was decided a joint replacement would be the better option for me and a date was set for the operation. I have to admit I had a few nerves the week before the op but was able to discuss my concerns with Mr Naqui and have my mind put at rest, and thank goodness I went ahead!!! Surprisingly the pain following the operation was not as bad as I expected , only taking strong painkillers for a couple of days and paracetamol for less than a week. How wonderful to be pain free after such a long time!! 6 and a bit weeks on and I am feeling optimistic that I will be able to get back to Dentistry and my movement seems good and looking forward to being able to strengthen my thumb. What a great team! Mr Naqui and all his team have been excellent ,from his secretary, Donna , his anaesthetist ,Nick Greenwood and Hand Therapist, Sarah Keogh, I feel I have been looked after very well along this journey.
