I had reached the stage at 45 of almost not being able to walk due to compression of the nerves in my legs. I had been informed nothing further could be done and then I was seen by Mr Arzogolou who said he could help me. After major surgery some metal work and a most amazing surgeon I can walk properly have returned to work and continue to make progress. How can you possibly thank someone enough for your life back. The whole team from the ward to anethetist to catering nurses everyone first class at Castle Hill thank you. Mr Arzogolou explains things in terms you can understand, you do not feel rushed. He answered my questions listened to me and I felt we formed a plan which went very well. Thank you

The emergency operation (burr hole surgery to remove blood clot pressing on the brain) carried out by Mr Arzoglou's team was rapid and completely effective. At the follow-up meeting Mr Arzoglou gave full and detailed answers to all my questions.

My Wife had Major neck surgery in September this year and the result was amazing. The main operation was that 2 vertebrae were totally removed and metal implants fitted. The care taken in the surgery meant the incision scar is invisible now and she made a full recover from the surgery very quickly, movement of her head is much the same as before. The surgeon is without doubt world class. Although now retired, I have worked in hospitals in a Service/Sales capacity all over the world for over 40 years and have met many surgeons and their teams and this is in my experience up there with the best available. The team around Mr Arzoglou are superb and all the staff in the wards, for the short stay my wife was there, were extremely attentive and supportive. No one wants to be in hospital but if it has to happen then HRI along with Castle Hill are certainly safe hands as far as we are concerned, and we are lucky to have these skilled people in our region.
