Mr Bruce Mathew

Mr Mathew and I go back a long way and he first performed surgery on me in 1993. He basically saved my life in removing part of a tumor that required the removal of my temporal lobe too. His knowledge and expertise had stopped him totally removing the tumor in full as he was unsure of how far it had grown into my brain. He suggested that we wait until technology became more advanced so we could use it to then make a more informed decision. We met up again 2½yrs later and he was now confident that the technology was now in place and if I was up for it then himself and his team would remove the remaining part of the tumor. Due to his excellent work I'm still alive and kicking seizure free and living life to the full. Many thanks Bruce.
