Might have got him on a bad day, very dismissive and not at all compassionate about the fact that I'm a 35 year old woman with bone on bone arthritis in my kneecaps and further arthritis throughout the rest of my knee joints. Was told very bluntly nothing can be done, and that the treatment I asked to be referred for probably wouldn't work. I appreciate the fact he was honest, I just thought the delivery was a little insensitive, and felt very rushed to get out the door, even though I had waited half an hour longer than my appointment time. I'm a carer, and I work full time, so my time also matters.

In 2017 I had a total right hip replacement, carried out by Mr Samsani..he was courteous, professional and brilliant surgeon. My hip replacement was a complete success. I went from not being able to walk without excruciating pain to walking with crutches and minimal pain overnight. I am due to have my left hip replaced and have requested Mr Samsani to do the surgery.

Mr Samsani after treatment, decided to send me to another consultant, because the treatment he believed the source of my problem was not within the area of his responsibility. Also, Mr Samsani's secretary Karen Gilden, is without any doubt, one of the best persons I have had dealings with eg, responding to emails on a Bank Holiday and weekends. Which shows she is a very caring, competent and helpful individual.

Mr Samsani performed a full hip replacement for me. The surgery has been a great success, and Mr Samsani has been attentive and professional throughout the process. He is knowledgeable in his chosen area, and very clear in explaining all that the surgery involves. Throughout, I was very happy with the treatment I received.
