I met Mr Smith after being passed to him from another Consultant for my surgery. Right from the start Mr Smith put me at ease and answered every question that I asked in a clear and easy to understand manner. He explained clearly the procedure I was having and involved me in the discussions about what he would do and how he would carry it out. As a consequence, come he day of the surgery, I was at ease and not nervous at all, even in the Theatre while waiting for the anaesthetic to put me to sleep. Such is the skill of Mr Smith I did not require any pain control medication after the anaesthetic wore off and have not required any at all since. Quite remarkable considering I have an incision in my neck a couple of inches long. After the operation Mr Smith explained how it went and what he did before discharging me leaving me with no questions unanswered. I left hospital full of admiration for both Mr Smith and his team. I cannot recommend Mr Smith highly enough and consider myself so lucky to have had him as my Surgeon. Thank you so much Mr Smith.

After being told by mr smith I had badly ruptured implants at broomfields hospital and they needed to be replaced sooner rather than later, there was no doubt in my mind I would choose mr smith to do my surgery, he made me feel so comfortable and made me laugh! He was very thorough with explaining what the surgery would involve and made me feel at ease. I am over the moon with my new boobs and would highly recommend him! And Mr H Jones his anethatist is an absolute sweetheart! the best I have come round from any previous surgery. I had the surgery at "The Chelmsford" day stay and all the nurses there are lovely! 16 years ago I had a double mastectomy and reconstruction surgery but with age they had deteriorated and were causing me a lot of discomfort. On seeing Mr Smith we decided to replace my implants with amazing results and no more discomfort and two beautiful shaped boobs. I cannot thank Mr Smith enough. He is so kind and approachable. I am 71 years of age but feel more like 61 with my new boobs. I would recommend Mr Smith to anyone of any age. You are never too old. I would also like to thank Mr H Jones the anesthetist. I woke up from the operation with no side effects from the anesthetic.
