The service I received at BMI Runnymede was absolutely second to none. Dr.Gupta took the time to explain in great detail the issues which came up on the MRI scan, the procedure details to rectify the problem and any other relevant details relevant to fixing the damage in my shoulder. I felt confident in Dr.Guptas obvious knowledge and understanding in this area and his professional conduct in explaining everything to someone with no medical knowledge. After having the surgery, I felt supported in every way from all the health professionals involved and the whole experience was a lot less challenging than I had anticipated. The aftercare was very comfortable and a clear plan of recovery was implemented which was easy to manage and stick to. 2 weeks after the procedure I had an appointment with Dr.Gupta and found that my recovery was going really well and the range of movement was comparative to most after 2 months of the surgery. I made sure to complete all the stretches set by the Physio team and was conscious not to overuse or under use my shoulder to avoid damage or a frozen shoulder. I would definitely recommend Dr.Gupta and the BMI Runnymede to friends with similar ailments to myself.

I have no complaints at all about the care that Mr Gupta provided to me. I always found him very pleasant to talk to, and he's clearly very knowledgable about all things shoulder related. The process that was followed for my consultation and eventual operation was very efficient, and follow ups were very timely too. All in all it was a very good experience for me.

I fell off of my motorcycle and shattered my elbow. The ambulance arrived promptly and I was taken to St. Peter’s Hospital. From when I arrived the treatment I received there was exceptional. The injury was a completely shattered elbow with open fracture. The doctor who saw me after there initial thorough check advised the injury was very severe and life changing and that I would be operated on in the morning. My heart sank but he was only being open and confirmed what I felt. The following morning he said you are very lucky Mr Rohit Gupta is coming in today and he is going to carry out your operation and he is very good. Boy was he right. Mr Gupta managed to re build and plate my elbow and also repaired a previous poor repair by someone else on my tricep attachment. I returned to see Mr Gupta for my follow up checks and he was Always very friendly, open and had time to advise me how my recovery was going. At one stage we discussed my Physio which was by video which he felt was not satisfactory and he arranged for this to be face to face which I was grateful for. I am so grateful to Mr Gupta as I am now 6 months into my recovery and my arm is working well. It is strong and getting even stronger, the range of movement in my elbow is slightly reduced but is improving day by day. He took a life changing situation and converted it into a situation in which I am able to do all that I did before the accident. I will be forever grateful to Mr Gupta for his skill, knowledge and his friendly open demeanour. Thank you, Kevin

I would trust my life in the hands of Mr Gupta. i had a reverse shoulder operation in September and am in such a good place now. Thanks to Mr Gupta and the wonderful Theatre Staff and all hospital Staff i could not have wished for better. Amazing Surgeon and amazing hospital and i can only thank everyone who was involved in my care. i had been made aware of Mr Gupta's expertise by a relative who also had had an excellent outcome regarding a complicated operation and and so pleased that i had heard about him. another small point is that when i went for my Covid test 3 days prior to my operation, the person doing the swabs asked what i was going into hospital for and i said that it was for a shoulder replacement by Mr Gupta and she immediately told me that i was in good hands. that said it all to me. just a nonchalent comment by a stranger was just lovely. i tell eveyone about him and my good outcome. he is amazing.

Mr Gupta is a highly skilled orthopaedic surgeon. He is personable, polite, very knowledgeable and put me at ease throughout the whole process. I am very pleased with the involvement in the decision making that I had throughout the process and his clear and understandable explanation of all options available at each stage. The surgical outcome has been good and successful and I would highly recommend him to any friends and colleagues who would require an orthopaedic surgeon.
