I recently had a C6/7 discectomy and ACDR under the care of Mr Rafid Al-Mahfoudh. He was extremely professional and caring throughout the whole process from initial consultation to post-op. My recovery has good and the surgery has hugely improved my symptoms. Any questions and queries I had outside of our consultations were handled promptly by his assistant Isabella who made the whole process very seamless. Mr Al-Mahfoudh and his assistant Isabella Fiore-Brown made the whole process as smooth as possible. His professional and reassuring manner put me at ease from the first meeting. From the consultant to the hospital to the anaesthetist to the nursing staff and everyone else involved, I felt in good hands. I cannot praise Mr Al-Mahfoudh highly enough.

After years of pain in the lumber area and legs. I underwent surgery two years ago. Mr Rafid Al-Mahfoudh, Consultant Neurosurgeon at the Nuffield Health Hospital carried out the surgery which involved: Fusion of the Lumber 3/4/5 and Decompression. Since then I have progressed, having completely recovered. Pain free also my quality of life has returned which I am grateful for. This was the right procedure for me and at the time of the operation I was in safe hands. I would recommend Mr Rafid Al-Mahfoudh to anyone who needs neurosurgery.

I had stenosis at L3/4 and surgery April 2019 carried out by Mr Rafid Al Mahfoudh and am delighted with the outcome. The aching, tautness and stiffness in my legs were immediately gone post operation and the swollen calves reduced within days. I hadn’t anticipated such positive results so soon. Mr Al Mahfoudh was caring, attentive and reassuring throughout and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending him to anyone requiring spinal surgery.
