Fantastic experience; MrRiaz, Sarah and the rest of the team gave me a very relaxed pleasant experience and ensured that all my fears and concerns were alleviated. Mr Riaz has given me the life I always wanted - I waited 25 years for a Breast reduction and in just 3 hours he changed my life for the better. He really is a master surgeon. When I first met Sarah and Mr Riaz they told me that this surgery would change my life and they were not wrong! I cannot thank you all enough for what you have done for me. Highly recommended. Thank you x

I waited 25 years to get my breast reduction. In the space of 3 hours mr riaz and his team have changed my life. No backache shoulder pain and my confidence is so much greater than it was. The whole process was relatively pain free and I was up and about after a week of recovery. Three months in and I am back to gym. The scars are healing beautifully. The aftercare was second to nione and I was fully informed and extremely well looked after both before during and after surgery. The team we’re very considerate over my concerns (none of which came to fruition) Thank you so much for your care and precision and for literally changing my life.

From the first consultation to post operative care Mr Riaz, Sarah & the rest of his Team have been amazing. In the care of Mr Riaz and his Team I felt cared for, safe and treated as an individual. Nothing has been too much trouble, all questions answered and any worries or concerns explained immediately. Post operative care was second to none, with care just a phone call away. The care and attention given by Mr Riaz and his Team is individual, caring and professional. The results of my breast reduction operation are beyond anything I could have imagined, Mr Riaz is an artist with the surgery he performs. Thank you to All the Team at ST Hugh’s hospital.

Mr Riaz, Sarah and every single staff member I came into contact with at St Hugh’s were absolutely amazing. I recently underwent a breast reduction and I am so happy with the results, just wish I had done it sooner. Every aspect of my care was outstanding and I can’t thank them all enough. Highly recommend.

Profile

I have worked as a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon since 1999 and currently work in the UK at The Department of Plastic Surgery, Castle Hill Hospital, Cottingham, in East Yorkshire. I received an honorary appointment to the Academic Staff of the Hull York Medical School (HYMS). My role is one of Senior Clinical Tutor and involves teaching, research and curriculum development.

I undertook my initial training in Multan, Pakistan before going on to embark on specialist plastic surgery training in a number of locations including the UK, Ireland and America. I held junior positions in plastic and reconstructive surgery in the West Midlands, Northern Ireland and Yorkshire. My senior plastic surgery training was undertaken in Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Pakistan, the USA and the UK.

In 2000 I was privileged to take up the position of Honorary Assistant Professor in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Nishtar Hospital & Medical College in Multan, Pakistan where early in 1999 I had established the Plastic Surgery and Burns Unit before coming to the UK to work in the capacity of Consultant Plastic Surgeon. During my time at Nishtar Hospital, I worked exclusively on a voluntary basis for the entire tenure.

I was elected as a Council Member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeons (BAAPS) in 2014. The purposes for which the Association was established are the advancement of education in, and the practice of, aesthetic plastic surgery for public benefit. I am passionate about standard-setting within the fields of plastic and cosmetic surgery. BAAPS plays a significant part in developing guidelines and advising the government in this.

I am registered with the General Medical Council. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, a member of the British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS), the Pakistan Association of Plastic Surgeons and the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH).
