After meeting Mr Platt to discuss the possibility of having a breast reduction and tummy tuck at the same time, I knew he was the right surgeon for me. His ability to remain professional while genuinely caring for his patients is wonderful and immediately put me at ease. He answered all of my questions thoroughly and was always available via email or through his secretary if I needed to ask anything else. Before surgery, I lost around 4½ stone, and I truly believe this helped with my smooth recovery and gave me the best possible results. Mr Platt is truly an artist, and I now have a body I’m proud of. I’m buying bikinis this year — something I haven’t worn in 15 years! I’m even staying in a hotel on holiday instead of hiding away in a villa like I used to. I only wish I’d done this sooner, but I’m so happy I finally did. I cannot wait for summer. Thank you, Mr Platt. From the moment I met Mr Platt I knew I’d chosen the right surgeon for my Abdominoplasty. You might ask “how?” it was just a gut feeling, very personable from the start and so easy to talk to he just put me at ease immediately and I just knew he was going to be the “right surgeon” for me. The fact I have a “complicated” medical history didn’t phase him, I even think he saw it as a bit of a challenge (in a good way) he may say different! I have never felt rushed during my appointments, you’re actively encouraged to ask as many questions as you wish. Mr Platt or his secretary are available if you suddenly think of something that you forgot to ask. I literally couldn’t wait to set the date. On the day of surgery, as promised, not only did Mr Platt see me before I went down to theatre he also came to see me twice afterwards. He even sorted a hernia that was discovered mid op!!! As promised no drains needed, minimal dressings and an absolutely fantastic recovery process. I’m 3 weeks post op and apart from some tiredness you would struggle to even know I’ve had surgery. My mobility and posture is pretty much back to normal. As for the results “wow” I couldn’t be any happier. I had a troublesome caesarean scare and an apron belly from a 6 stone weight loss and it’s all gone….just like that. I genuinely for the first time (in a long time) like looking at stomach in the mirror. I’ve hated that area of my body for so long…my only regret is that I didn’t do something about it sooner. If in the near future I decide something else needs “tweaking” I will not hesitate to contact Mr Platt.

Professional, kind, caring, honest, incredibly talented, magician (!) are all words I would use to describe Alastair. From the initial consultation to the post operation consultation Alastair has treat me with the upmost dignity and professionalism. I knew from my initial consultation that I was in safe hands and I couldn’t be happier with my results. Alastair genuinely cares about his patients and strives to achieve the best results for them. I came to see Mr Platt regarding breast augmentation, from the very first apportionment he was professional, attentive and reassuring. Having used Mr Platt many years ago I did not hesitate to contact him again for my tummy tuck. As well as being a brilliant surgeon he is friendly, makes you feel at ease and very easy to talk with. Am now 5 weeks post op and could not be happier, the post op appointment went well, Mr Platt was very please with the results as was I.
