Website stated around 4000 for treatment after paying 150 for a consultation was told 5500 plus implants this was not due to any complication I was never examined this to me is just very dishonest. You do not get to know the price until you pay 150 and like I said no examination just a 5 minuet chat. Will look for a more honest straight forward service. Who knows what other add ons lie in wait.

Paolo is an amazing surgeon. I was terrified of how the operation that I was due to have would affect my face as it was the removal of a BCC from inside my nostril. As it was in the full centre of my face I did put my faith completely in him and need not have worried at all. I admit that it was not the best operation and by the end of the 5th/6th day the pain was pretty bad. The outcome however ,because I did exactly what I was told is amazing. I have been told by close friends that it is basically invisible especially for anyone who is unaware of the operation. Put your faith in this man he truly is outstanding in his field .

Following a traumatic large shin injury(to the bone) 5weeks ago i saw Mr Matteucci in the plastic trauma unit at hull royal infirmary the following day, he was lovely and very calming as i was still deeply shocked and emotional and very tired from little sleep...he gave me options to graft or to try and heal on my own, he didnt push me to do anything i was not comfortable with, i saw him 2 weeks later at castle hill again he re-assured and eased my fears and offered options, he will see me monthly till im healed and take care of my full depth leg wound, i feel in good hands and safe as i have scleroderma and wound healing for me isnt that great but hes a lovely guy and will take the necessary action if its needed at a later date or if i get into trouble but i trust and fully recommend him

Mr P Matteucci was very professional, polite and caring, he listens to what you have to say, with regard to your concerns, worries and your problems. He communicates everything very clearly and without a huge amount of medical jargon. I feel at ease when I am there, and he is so easy to talk to. The treatment and care that is required is very defined and very easy to understand. The department on a whole are very friendly although the only negative thought is the surroundings, they are very bleak and could be improved even with some simple decoration. On the whole I feel this department is run very well and everyone very professional.

I personally found Dr. Paolo Matteucci to be an approachable and knowledgeable Specialist/ Plastic Surgeon, who takes the time to discuss and explain things in full. He was understanding and genuinely interested when I asked questions. I did not feel at all rushed in my consultation and he had a very pleasant manner. I would recommend him 100%.
