Mr. Hanief has been wonderful throughout my recent journey with breast cancer, explaining everything thoroughly and always being very respectful of both myself and my daughter at my appointments. He kept me informed at every stage calling me personally to let me know what was happening when. As a surgeon he is amazing and his work is exemplary, I would highly recommend him to anyone having to go through surgery. And as a person, he is one of the kindest and most thoughtful people I have had the pleasure to meet.

Mr Hanief operated on me for breast cancer. From the outset I found him to be exceptionally caring and professional. The operation itself was successful and he contacted me regularly after I was discharged from hospital. He did an excellent job and the end result was visually amazing and he took great care to make sure that I was happy with the result. His follow up care has been exceptional and I felt confident as a patient

Form the diagnosis to the end of treatment I could not have been better cared for. Mr Hanief went above and beyond the call of duty, popping into the hospital at around 11pm just to check up on me and taking great care to ensure that I understood all the options. I felt completely supported throughout and thankfully have made a great recovery.

Following my breast cancer diagnosis at the Parapet Clinic in May 2018 I met Mr Hanief who undertook my treatment. At that time I was understandably nervous but the discussions with Mr Hanief were extremely professional - full explanations were given with a great deal of clarity and understanding which helped me tremendously. This support was given thoughout my course of treatment , both before and after successful surgery, and any questions or fears I have had at any time were always handled comprehensively and very very kindly. I think Mr Hanief's combination of knowledge, skills and experience coupled with his ability offer a high degree of sympathetic and timely communication is exemplary.

I have been treated by Dr Hanief since being diagnosed with breast cancer 15 months ago. He has a very calm manner and has always put me at ease, from initial diagnosis through to surgery. I have had two surgeries performed by Dr Hanief now, both successful, with no complications and healed very well. Dr Hanief and all of the team at The Princess Margaret Hospital are friendly and caring, and I am grateful for the care that I and my family received from all of them during a scary and emotional time.
