From my first consultation with Dr Latimer for a hip replacement he has been kind, professional, helpful and thorough in making sure I was getting the operation I needed. Even though the pandemic was causing chaos in every other aspect of our daily lives Dr Latimer and the team at the Fitzwilliam looked after me with great care and my hip replacement went ahead without any problems. I have been back for my Physio and have now seen Dr Latimer for my follow, final up consultation during which I was shown my X-rays and the full process of exactly what was done and why was carefully explained to me in terms that made perfect sense. Dr Latimer confirmed that everything is as it should be and he has now discharged me from needing any more consultations unless I have any concerns. My wound is healing well and I am very happy to have had my operation because I am already feeling the benefit of greatly reduced levels of pain. I was treated throughout with respect and good humour and would not hesitate to return to Dr Latimer should I need the other hip replacing in the future.

I recently underwent a successful total hip replacement by Mr. Mark Latimer who was very aporoachable kind and reassuring. My wound healed up remarkably well and when the urse at our local surgery removed the clips she was amazed that i had no bruising! I would thoroughly recommend Mr. Latimer and he deserves his certificate of excellence. If there were more doctors like him the world would be a better place!!

What a fantastic experience. My daughter was rather nervous before her first appointment, however on arrival Mr Latimers gentle and caring approach put her completely at ease. He listened to her attentively and gave her time to think about the responses and carefully clarified. He then arranged for the subsequent care and treatment, thank you very much. May I also take this opportunity to thank all the other supporting staff at Clinic 6, Addenbrookes, who provided equally good care.

Mr Latimer is professional, knowledgeable and caring. He has an excellent bedside manner. He listens to his patients (and their advocates) and acknowledges their pain/symptoms and their concerns. He will then suggest a plan of care such as physiotherapy and review, monitor, X-ray etc. Mr Latimer is approachable and he presents with a calm reassuring attitude towards his patients. It is hard to find a knowledgeable Doctor without a ‘God complex’; but Mr Latimer is indeed in a league of his own, he is a great role model for all that a doctor should be. Take notes students this is whom you should aspire to be. A truly remarkable doctor. Thank you for your continued excellent care of my daughter.
