From my first consultation with Dr Latimer for a hip replacement he has been kind, professional, helpful and thorough in making sure I was getting the operation I needed.
Even though the pandemic was causing chaos in every other aspect of our daily lives Dr Latimer and the team at the Fitzwilliam looked after me with great care and my hip replacement went ahead without any problems.
I have been back for my Physio and have now seen Dr Latimer for my follow, final up consultation during which I was shown my X-rays and the full process of exactly what was done and why was carefully explained to me in terms that made perfect sense.
Dr Latimer confirmed that everything is as it should be and he has now discharged me from needing any more consultations unless I have any concerns.
My wound is healing well and I am very happy to have had my operation because I am already feeling the benefit of greatly reduced levels of pain.
I was treated throughout with respect and good humour and would not hesitate to return to Dr Latimer should I need the other hip replacing in the future.
