I had perforated eardrum. Mr Jospeh Mangaly has repaired it successfully. He has taken very good care of me. I am really grateful to him.

My 6 year old daughter was referred to the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital to investigate hearing loss due to glue ear. She saw Mr Manjaly, who was always delightful in clinic and made her feel very at ease. He recommended grommets and explained the procedure and benefits of this very thoroughly. We were extremely happy with all the care we received. The grommets surgery went really well and my daughter was discharged within a few hours. The surgery was a great success in improving her hearing and we’re really grateful to Mr Manjaly for all his expert advice and for the exemplary care he showed.

I was diagnosed with posssible bilateral octosclerosis and referred to the RH ENT hospital.I wore hearing aids in both ears and found it increasingly difficult to communicate with people at work and to hear conversations in most noisy social situations with family and friends in social gatherings. Mr Manjaly immediately put me at ease with his kindness and consideration when answering my questions (no matter how trivial). He seemed to me to exude an air of a man who held his knowledge and skills lightly. The operation went as planned as did the post operative recovery period. with no complications.Once the packing had been removed it was apparent how successful the operation had been. I now wear a much less powerful hearing aid and can join in and participate in work and social situations(and can contribute to the banter on our long Sunday runs once again.) wih much more confidence. I look forward to the chance having the operation on my other ear. Many thanks to Mr Manjaly and his team and all the staff who contributed to such a successful outcome.

After almost 20 years with otosclerosis in my left ear, I was excited to discover the stapedectomy procedure made possible by the work of Mr Joseph Manjaly and Mr Jeremy Lavey at UCLH. From the moment I met Mr Manjaly I was impressed by his helpful and professional approach. The life changing surgery under sedation rather than a general anaesthetic was painless and recovery went smoothly. The ultimate reward was getting my hearing back to an extremely good level and I now hear absolutely normally. To say that I'm thrilled would be an understatement and I highly recommend this form of procedure to anybody in a similar situation.
