Throughout my partial knee replacement procedure, I found Mr Gibbs to be an outstanding clinician with a very friendly, personable manner.
His guidance leading up to the chosen procedure was clear and decisive and his secretarial team were extremely friendly and helpful.
With his lead and support of his clinical team, I felt very confident throughout the operating procedure and am fully on the way to a cmplete recovery.

I could not be more delighted with the outcome and care given to me for my total hip replacement. Two weeks after the procedure I am walking without pain for the first time in two years. I felt listened to and every question I had responded to in a careful considerate manner. All aspects of my experience (pre and post opp) are incredibly positive and the outcome goes beyond all expectations. Highly recommended.

Mr. Gibbs gives a clear considered opinion in a friendly relaxed manner.
He takes all the time necessary to answer questions accurately and concisely and with great clarity.

Dr J Gibbs changed my life, he is simply amazing! Extremely intelligent, friendly, clear, and professional. At the Pre operation meetings I was left speechless as he covered everything that will happen and that could possibly happen.
Honestly, I could not have found a better doctor to preform my surgery.
Mid of June I had my hip resurfaced due to wear and tear, two months later and I still cannot believe how active I am without any pain whatsoever not to mention the a very quick and easy recovery. Dr James Gibbs is God sent and that’s the only explanation, cannot recommend him enough! by far the best decision I have made!

Mr James Gibbs MB BS, Msc, FRCS (Tr & Orth) is a Specialist Consultant in Orthopaedics & Trauma in Surrey and Sussex specialising in hip, knee and sports injury conditions. He is one of the region’s leading Robotic Surgery experts and is an invited speaker in the field.
He regularly manages hip and knee conditions along with sports injuries. He performs above average numbers of hip and knee replacements including Robotic surgery, partial knee replacement and hip resurfacing. He is also a specialist in redo joint replacement surgery. He also performs key-hole surgery and ligament reconstruction for soft tissue and sports injuries. He has an interest in joint preservation treatments for arthritis such as visco-supplementation and corrective osteotomy surgery.
