He greets you in a friendly, caring manner. Explains everything fully. The treatment was first class. He pays a lot of attention to detail and has one's feeling in mind. The treatment I received has lasted 9 months and was exceptional. Mr Sherafat, as a professional doctor, one could not wish for better. I am one very satisfied patient.

My Mum was discharged from Dr Hooman's clinic a couple of days ago after having two cataracts removed (one in May and the other in September this year). One of her eyes was quite complicated and he fully explained the pros and cons of surgery; Dr Hooman achieved an excellent result for her. Dr Hooman is a charming man who listens to and answers any questions both before and after surgery. My Mum and I would not hesitate in recommending Dr Hooman.

Dr Sherafat is so warm and friendly, my Mother put all her trust in him whilst he carried out both left and right cataract removal (the right eye being somewhat difficult and not straight forward). He likes to "blow his own trumpet" which is really quite funny but puts everyone at ease. Both my Mother and I would highly recommend Dr Sherafat.

Dr Sherafat performed my cataract surgery at Kingston Eye Unit. The surgery went well but in the days after I noticed my pupil wasn't returning to the right shape. I came to casualty 3 days after surgery and was seen by Dr Sherafat who straight away diagnosed the problem and said that I needed surgery again to correct it - immediately. He fitted me in first thing that morning even though I know he had waiting room full of other emergencies (just looking at them all waiting was making me feel stressed on his behalf). I was taken to surgery , gowned up etc and was feeling utterly terrified as this surgery had to be done under anaesthetic injection into the eye , and it was all so unexpected. Dr Sherafat even took the time to come in to see me as I waited and got the nurse to take his blood pressure as well which made me laugh and feel more relaxed despite the nerves. He worked on my eye for a long time and told me to return to see him the following morning. The surgery worked perfectly. I was completely impressed with his professionalism, kindness and surgical skill. I felt like I was in the best hands and am very grateful for his care. I will never know how doctors manage to apply the most intricate and specialised skills under the pressure which they work in the NHS. But I'm extremely grateful that they do!
