Written by a NHS patient at Luton and Dunstable Hospital
31st March 2021

March 2021 His knowledge is second to non. Very helpful and nothing is silly to ask. Very polite. Puts things into everyday terms and reality. He gives you the facts and options for everything and lets you decide. I felt very safe in his care the last time I had sciatica in 2018/19. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to deal with my back issues. It’s the trust you build up with your consultant. The only thing I feel let’s things down is the lack of communication when you get referred in the first place to MSK Wigmore. This was such a slow process which both times took over 5/6 months to even see Dr Bhagawati. When someone is in such severe pain with sciatica this is not showing patient care? Also this wait is very severe on a persons mental health.
