I personally had a very bad experience unfortunately with one doctor. The ward 16 I was in The nurses and staff credit to the nursing profession. The bad experience with one doctor was basically not my box, not my problem attitude.ie Do I really care if your blood pressure is 92over 52 or Your Troponin is at 20.9 good god no. What in February you had three cardiac arrests in one day and spent 9 days in a coma. well you had a rest then so all's good you can go home. Just don't die on my shift or before you leve the hospital. I see no one mentions of CQC on they web site this is the government body that oversees hospitals and will look at your complaints when they next inspect or will go in if it is serious. It is very disappointing to see that on L&D site will not allow any real bad reviews that require formal complaints and obviously don't want this information out to the general public therefore very biased information. Wonder how many other people had the same experiences as myself but due to severe restrictions on this site not bothered to post.

I am incredibly impressed with all the staff who have looked after me at Luton and Dunstable Hospital. Everyone has been so kind and caring and professional. I have had appointments and surgery and have been looked after to the highest of standards by staff in the breast care assessment centre, the breast care team of surgeons and specialist nurses and also hospital at home who have visited me and looked after me. Teams of wonderful and positive individuals, across admissions, recovery, the short-stay surgical unit, the emergency surgical unit and the Orthotic Department have all looked after me brilliantly. I also want to give a big thank you to the anesthetists and nurses, who were so reassuring and understanding right before my surgeries - they knew I was nervous and spent time with me, which made me feel so much calmer before my operations - thank you. Thank you so much to all the staff at Luton and Dunstable Hospital for providing treatment and care to such an amazing standard.

I received great care from my first referral appointment at the breast assessment clinic. Culminating in requiring surgery within a very short time scale. My surgeon, Miss James was excellent. Caring, reassuring, professional & answered all my questions. The whole team at the L&D & everyone I encountered have been amazing & very supportive.Including the home care team & those in the recovery area, post surgery. Thank you.

Never any problems, always great car and attention. My daughter was her for 5 weeks and now, 11 years later, they still remember me. I think it's a great hospital.

I have been seen by several Consultants in the Luton and Dunstable Hospital and all have been excellent at assisting me to get well again, the Hospital site is under major construction improvements at this time and staff have to work along side this I am sure it will continue being an excellent Hospital for a long time.
