Miss Kirkpatrick reviewed my issue and took precautionary action. Top class service and very efficient. If only the whole of the NHS were this good.

I was treated with great care and safety, and all of my worries were dispelled with my examination. I was given great detail about what the potential causes for my worries were and I left feeling completely reassured. I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant experience for such a worrying area.

Miss Kirkpatrick greeted me warmly, introduced the nurse in the room, and instantly made me feel comfortable. All information was given in an easy to understand manner. My appointment was unhurried and when I left I was happy about the decision I was making - all the pros and cons had been explained fully to me. Miss Kirkpatrick made certain that there was nothing else I would like to know. She really is a credit to her profession. Thank you.

My experience with Dr Kirkpatrick was one of great professionalism and care, empathy and understanding and it was a pleasure to meet her. I felt very well taken care of during all of my treatment and even though the doctor must see so many patients I was made to feel I was important and well taken care of.

Miss Kirkpatrick was very welcoming, explained everything very clearly and put me at my ease. I felt reassured by her professionalism and she was very approachable ensuring any questions I had were answered.

I was referred to Miss Kirkpatrick after a CT for haematuria picked up a density on my right breast. Upon entering her room, I was impressed that she introduced herself and another member of her team making me feel relaxed as I was quite concerned. Her explanations of my mammogram, were explained simply as she showed me the results. My breasts were then examined and Miss Kirkpatrick was able to assure me that I had no cause for concern, much to my relief. I felt I was dealt with very professionally and in a caring, friendly manner. I was fortunate that my results showed no cause for concern, but if there had been any problems, I feel assured that this would have been dealt with sympathetically and reassuringly.

I feel very lucky to have had Miss Kirkpatrick as my breast surgeon. I have had three surgeries and Miss Kirkpatrick was my surgeon for all of them. From the very first time I met with her, she made me feel looked after. She talked me through everything I needed to know clearly and patiently. She never made me feel rushed and she answered all my questions. At a stressful time, I really appreciated how she explained options and procedures to me. I have benefited from her knowledge and guidance, which helped me understand my diagnosis and treatment much better. After appointments with Miss Kirkpatrick, I always left the room clearer and calmer because of how she had talked me through results and next steps. Miss Kirkpatrick explained all the procedures in plain English and nothing was too much trouble to explain.I felt I was good hands with a totally dedicated and very competent surgeon.
