I found Mr Madhok to be welcoming, pleasant and polite. He asked what my symptoms were and how long I had had them and made the suggestion to have my gall bladder removed. He explained all the risks and benefits from having this procedure. A date was made for my surgery 2 weeks after my initial consultation.

I was really impressed by the whole process and the amount of guidance and advice I was given both before and after my operation. As someone who has quite a complicated list of medications, I was concerned about how difficult my recovery might be. My specialist liaised with Mr Madhok, and I believe that my health and safety were prioritised at all times.

Mr Madhok was a true and polite gentleman at all times, from our first meeting at The Nuffield in Derby, before and after my operation in the Private Health Suite at the Royal Derby Hospital, and the post-op phone call 8 weeks later. He took time to explain everything thoroughly at every meeting and assured me that I could call him in the future if necessary. My husband and I were extremely happy with the whole experience.
