I had a double heart bypass surgery performed by Mr Aziz Momin on 4th June 2018. It was a Monday and on Friday 8th June l was at home starting my recovery. I only met Mr Momin one week before the operation,he showed me my Angiogram pictures from a month earlier,and explained to me in a very understandable way that I needed the surgery ASAP. I wasn’t in any pain so the shock at this was huge. But Mr Momin with the help of his nurse made me feel a lot easier. Mr Momin came and spoke to me on the ward before the operation and even ask me who he could call for me after the operation. And he himself did this and when I came round in ICU my son was there with Mr Momin. He is the ultimate professional and I can’t thank him enough. And I must also thank his team who were also very professional and that includes all the staff on Benjamin Weir Ward. Thank you all very much.

I am extremely grateful to Mr Momin for my cardiac bypass operation . He showed compassion and spoke in an easy way for me to understand the procedure of my operation . I feel very lucky that Mr Momin handled my case. Words cannot express the way that I feel I am over the moon with the results . I saw Mr Momin yesterday the 15th June 2018 and he said to me that I had a new engine and live my life which made me feel special. I am a carpenter by trade and thought I was a skilled craftsman but nothing compares to the expertised I received and the way i was treated

Mr Momin's approach was both professional and comforting. He was able to provide detail where required and yet at the same time keep his explanation of the condition simple. Had it not been for the lack of administrative support to check the documentation and ensure everything was present and correct at the clinic prior to the meeting, this would have been an excellent appointment. Bring back matron. As a patient, the experience in the clinic prior to meeting the doctor is poor. Am I going to be seen next ? Will the doctor have all the information for the meeting ? Information is key to the process and is currently lacking.

I found the Doctor to be very clear in his explanation of the procedure. I felt extremely reassured by his demeanour throughout. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Momin.
