Felt in good hands with Mr Pickersgill. I had my procedure done laparoscopically and you can hardly notice I have had an operation a tiny scar in my belly button. He was very quick to respond to a concern I had following the procedure so his after care was spot on. I still do have some issues but hopefully they will resolve over time.

I've been under the care of Mr Pickersgill for over a decade. He has treated me for endometriosis and adenomyosis, ultimately performing two surgeries on me. He is an outstanding surgeon. His manner is relaxed and empathetic, he is professional and knowledgable. He listens and explains, ensuring that i have known exactly what is happening, what to expect and why. I would not be in the positive health that I am in without Mr Pickersgill. I'm incredibly grateful to him and very. happy to recommend. him.

I cannot recommend Mr Andrew Pickersgill enough. From the moment I met him for my first consultation, he was empathetic, listened with patience and kindness and showed genuine concern regarding my worsening case. He validated every one of my symptoms and explained the possible reasons, suspecting I had adenomyosis - which I had never heard of - and a scan later confirmed this to be the case. I was overjoyed to hear a full explanation, receive a diagnosis and learn that my symptoms were not normal, despite what I had been told over the years. Upon openly discussing my options, I decided to have a total hysterectomy and BSO. He is an expert surgeon and successfully carried out the procedure laparoscopically. During surgery, he also found advanced endometriosis and successfully excised this. I have recovered well, with limited pain and have been able to return to work after 5 weeks. Both before and after surgery, he was supportive, understanding and helpful. He has a very caring bedside manner and does not invalidate fears or feelings. He also supported me with post operative recommendations regarding HRT - which I was worried about due to a past health issue - yet so far, so good. I feel incredibly lucky to have been treated by Mr Pickersgill, have never felt better and am ever thankful to him for this new start in my life. I trust him completely and would not hesitate to recommend him.
